Welcome to the best
Player Experience
Where on the amateur tour, every step is a chance to shine brighter.
Team Rally Format
Our teams are set-up as 2 female, 2 male players where each team match comprises of the following games: Women’s doubles, Men’s doubles, 2 – Mixed Doubles. This is traditional team rally scoring where every point counts and games are first team to 21.
Combine & Draft
Do you feel that your rating is not fully representative of what you could bring to a pickleball team? This is why we have combine day where players come play a 2-hour rotation to showcase their skills to their future captains and sponsors.
Prize Pool
Every season we launch has a prize pool of at least $1,000. With every Semi Pro Pickleball Season, we will always have a prize pot up for grabs.

Our Differentiated Experience
With our prize pot always promise, we bring a highly competitive group of pickleballers together for every season and tournament. So what exactly is included in each season?
- 15+ hours of highly competitive play (value $1,000)
- Custom Sponsored T-shirt or Tank Top (value $50)
- Potential Sponsor Gifts
- Player promotion opportunities through SPP social media channels
Thanks to our local sponsors for each season, players pay less than $300 for the full season of play (location varies).
Start your journey with
Combine & Draft
(only for certain leagues. if you have a bring your own team (BYOT) league, there will be no combine and draft dates)
Most players that register attend the combine to showcase their skills on the pickleball court for both captains and sponsors. Generally, most players have a minimum rating of 4.0 or play at that existing level. We do not require a minimum DUPR score, however, as captains form their teams they will review player registrations and how they performed during combine to make their draft decisions.
Combine occurs approximately 2 weeks prior to the first day of play listed below for each location. When you register, you will receive a full confirmation e-mail listing dates, times, and full location-specific information. If location allows, there will be a draft party for all registered players to announce the sponsored teams.
Please note: Some leagues may forgo the combine and do team-based signups. Please make sure to click to register on your specific location for the details.
Teams have 3 round robin style
Seeding Rounds
Once teams are selected every team will participate the next 3 weeks in round robin style matches to identify what seeds they will have during playoffs. Those in top standings overall will get the preferred playoff seeds. During these weeks, we do allow substitutions if someone is out a given week that have to be selected by the team and sent prior to the day of play.
These days are high energy, where teams cheer on each other during 2-3 matchups. This totals the day to about 3-5 hours of game play. Each game is first team to 21, win by 2 and after getting 19 points, you can only score on your serve. All points prior to 19 can be scored on any server. Players will remain on the same side of their court (right or left) the entire game and switch server whether the point is even or odd.
1 weekend of
Playoffs
Our first day of playoffs will include all teams in the given season. The only difference will be the seeds that will be given based on the season play. This is elimination based play and tie breakers will result in multiple rounds of all four components (womens, mens, 2 mixed doubles) until a team reaches 21 points. There will not be singles matches during these seasons. If you are interested in singles, please keep an eye out for our future tournaments!
The second day of playoffs is generally only teams that have made the semi-finals and finals, so not all teams will play on the last day of playoffs. We highly encourage attendance to cheer on your peers and celebrate the prize pot winners at the end!
